FURUNO to exhibit the world's smallest and lightest Weather Radar System at the InterMET Asia 2017 exhibition in Singapore
FURUNO ELECTRIC CO., LTD. (headquartered in Nishinomiya, Japan, President: Mr. Yukio Furuno) announces that FURUNO will attend the InterMET Asia 2017 exhibition (21th-22th of March 2017) focused on meteorological technologies in Singapore.
InterMET Asia is the only international exhibition for meteorological observation technologies and practical applications in the Asia-Pacific region. Technological solutions are exhibited for both governmental bodies and private institutions.
FURUNO will exhibit the Compact X-band Dual Polarimetric Doppler Weather Radar "WR-2100" renowned for being the smallest and lightest Weather Radar in the world, offering many unique applications for monitoring local meteorology. The WR-2100 X-band Doppler Weather Radar is currently in use by both private institutions and universities. They are being used for rain, hail and snow monitoring, research in prevention of landslides, volcano observation and management of drainage systems around the globe.
