MTWE 2016 is one of the largest shows in the world of latest technology related to climate, including weather forecasting, climate analysis, measurement, and services. FURUNO will display its
Compact X-band Dual Polarimetric Doppler Weather Radar "WR-2100" and GNSS Displacement Measurement System "DANA".
The WR-2100, which is the world's smallest and lightest weather radar, has been already installed all over the world and it can be applied to various fields such as water management, traffic support or disaster assistance.
The DANA is able to measure ground displacements in mm (millimeter) order by using GNSS positioning system and is dedicated to the monitoring of local land movement. Also DANA makes the detection of land slide or volcano eruption possible.
At this exhibition, FURUNO will present examples of installations in their fields.
