FURUNO ELECTRIC CO., LTD. (headquartered in Nishinomiya, Japan) is proud to introduce its new product, the 3D Sonar Visualizer™ F3D-S. This application works in conjunction with the Full-Circle Sonar FSV-25/25S to show fish and sonar information in 3 dimensions. It uses the hull unit of the existing sonar but then processes the information in a unique way to show fish, peaks and sea floor data in a 3 dimensional “real world” view on an external monitor.

HIGHLIGHTS

• 3D visualization of ship’s surroundings
• Fish schools of surface to middle layer can be observed at the same time
• Four views (3D-View, Top-View, Side-View and Vslice-View) can be displayed on the screen
• Movement of fish schools can be viewed instantly
• Relative position of fish schools, trawl doors, and net can be easily understood
• Various marks (echo region mark, event mark, purse net mark, trawl mark etc.) can be entered
• Storage and replay of picture and settings
