FURUNO ELECTRIC CO., LTD. (headquartered in Nishinomiya, Japan, President: Mr. Yukio Furuno) announces that it will participate at the InterMET Asia 2016 exhibition (16th-17th of March 2016) about meteorological technologies in Singapore.

InterMET Asia is an exhibition focused on meteorological observation technologies and practical applications. Technological solutions are presented both for governmental bodies and private institutions, the only international exhibition of its kind in the Asia-Pacific region.

FURUNO is displaying its prized Compact X-band Dual Polarimatric Doppler Weather Radar "WR-2100" renowned for being the smallest and lightest Weather Radar in the world as well as offering unique possibilities to monitor local meteorology. The X-band Doppler Weather Radar is currently in use by both private institutions as well as universities for research in prevention of landslides, volcano observation and management of drainage systems around the globe.
