Introducing the new GF-100 series and presenting technical posters on active holdover and LTE interference mitigation
We are delighted to announce that Furuno will be a Gold Sponsor at the International Timing and Sync Forum (ITSF) 2026 in Geneva, Switzerland from 2 to 5 November. At our booth, we will showcase time synchronization solutions that combine GNSS receivers and antennas, including the new GF-100 Series, scheduled for release in November 2026. In addition, two Furuno engineers will give poster presentations on improving the reliability of time synchronization.
Exhibition overview and Furuno technologies
We will exhibit the GF-100 Series of Dual-Band GNSS Disciplined Oscillators, which achieve both high time accuracy and robustness through L1/L5 dual-band reception and Proactive Holdover. We will also exhibit the AU-500, a dual-band Multi-GNSS Timing Antenna with high accuracy and high environmental resistance. These products support accurate and stable time synchronization for critical infrastructure such as telecommunications networks and data centers, where service outages are not tolerated.
GNSS is one of the key technologies behind high-precision time synchronization in critical infrastructure. In recent years, however, it has faced growing external threats such as jamming and spoofing*. Various alternative and complementary technologies have been proposed to address these threats, each with its own strengths and limitations. As a result, GNSS-based time synchronization now requires greater robustness: beyond high-sensitivity performance, it needs functions that maintain time accuracy as signal conditions change, as well as holdover capabilities for when GNSS signals are unavailable.
Poster presentations
Against this backdrop, two Furuno engineers will give poster presentations on improving the reliability of time synchronization. The first introduces active holdover using alternative sources other than GNSS receivers, an advanced approach to maintaining time synchronization when GNSS signals are unavailable. The second presents the results of GNSS reception evaluations conducted near LTE base stations, along with GNSS antenna selection to reduce the impact of LTE interference.

About ITSF
ITSF is the world's largest international conference in the field of time synchronization, bringing together experts from sectors that support social infrastructure, including telecommunications, financial trading, smart grids, and data centers.
We are working to improve the accuracy and robustness of our GNSS receivers and antennas, and are developing technologies that keep time synchronization running even when GNSS signals are unavailable. By making time synchronization systems more reliable, we will continue to contribute to the development of critical infrastructure and the time synchronization industry.
